Il Tartufo Trattoria has been for the past 40 years a historic, family-run restaurant in the centre of Bologna.
You can enjoy typical Bolognesi and Umbrian specialities in a warm and welcoming environment.

Started by Mamma Dora, husband Emilio and son Elio Virgili, each with different cooking experiences: the parents more of a “Umbro Spoletino” traditional home type cooking , the son with the experience from the most prestigious restaurants in Europe.

This has created a unique blend of home made cuisine and refined dining.
At present Mrs. Lina Virgili and the two sons Alessandro e Riccardo carry on the family traditions.
